Congratulations to the police for successfully rescuing the babies from the baby selling syndicate. I hope the Attorney General Chambers will expedite action against the syndicate to curb their immoral activities. Information and cooperation from the public is important to prevent baby-selling syndicates from continuing exploiting babies for their own benefits. According to section 48(2) of the Child Act 2001 any person who is found guilty of selling babies is liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or both.
